Research summary

PNC-27 is a chimeric peptide combining a p53 HDM-2-binding domain with a membrane-penetrating leader sequence; it is reported to bind HDM-2 anomalously present in cancer-cell membranes, forming pores that cause selective membranolysis while sparing normal cells in laboratory models. All evidence is preclinical (cell culture and animal studies), with no completed human clinical trials, no established human dosing, and no human safety data. This is an investigational anticancer research peptide only and makes no therapeutic claim. Educational only — not medical advice.
